While based out of Vik we knew we needed to visit Skaftafell National Park to see Svartifoss. It’s a pretty spectactular waterfall with more of the hexagonal basalt columns, but upside down this time!
We also stopped for Fjaðrárgljúfur, a 100 meter deep canyon with multiple waterfalls dropping into it. And more farmhouses with government-issue waterfalls behind them.
Next up, we drove 1300 meters up onto a glacier!
