Dad and I went biking in the UP this summer for our annual trip. We spent two nights in Houghton to bike the Keweenah peninsula, then moved on to Marquette for the last night. Turns out we were in Marquette the weekend of the Superior Bike Fest, this HUGE road and mtn bike festival with tons of races and comps. They also do downhill. Luckily, the trail we had planned to ride in Marquette was not in use for the races. We had a great time and required no bike or people repairs.
