Hahn's Peak    February 2009    47 images
So I concocted a plan to take a trip out to Rangely to climb a mountain with Bottels and some of his friends. Except I only told his friends and left John out of the loop. Ha! I showed up on Thursday afternoon while John was at work, his boss let me into his apartment and then I suprised the hell out of him when he got home. The whole plan came together perfectly except for John went and got sick so he couldn't climb the mountain with us. Shit happens. Sorry John! His brother Jim took his place along with me Jen, the other Jim, and Brandon and we summited Hahn's Peak at 10, 772ft along with big puppy Trevor and little puppy Ragbrai. A select few of you will know the meaning behind Jim's choice of Ragbrai for his puppy's name. Trailhead and cabin was at about 8600 feet, so it was a 2000ft, 8mi round-trip. Here's the pictures!
